This year, he covered the festival with a special focus on the Artisan Market, highlighting its vibrant energy, unique vendors, and the atmosphere that makes it such a beloved part of the Shambhala experience.

Courtney’s album captures the atmosphere and energy of the festival with authenticity and care. This year, she focused on documenting Shambhala’s food vendors, showcasing the people and flavours that keep the festival community fuelled throughout the weekend.

Michelle went above and beyond to deliver an incredible album. Her assignment focused on attendee-organized events, the gatherings that showcase the connection within the Shambhala community. From the Mombhala Meet-Up to the Moth-Pit gathering, Michelle documented the energy and personality that make these traditions a memorable part of the festival.

It was a pleasure to welcome Natalie back to the farm this year. Her work once again captures the feeling of belonging that makes Shambhala so special - every frame makes you wish you were there. Natalie’s assignments included guest and theme camps like Camp Daycare and the Cat Dome, portraits that highlight the uniqueness within our community, and scenes along the Salmo River, balancing quiet moments with the festival’s vibrant energy.

Joffrey has been photographing Shambhala for many years, and his experience shows in the way he captures both the atmosphere and the heart of the farm. With a focus on the gardens and nature, he brought the space to life through portraits framed by flowers and calm, sunlit scenes. He also covered the Living Room Lamp Contest, Parade, and Secret Garden workshops, documenting the creativity and playfulness that make these moments such a cherished part of the festival. For his assignment at Wombtang in the Village, he zeroed in on the all-female DJ collective holding it down on Saturday evening. His photos capture the fierce focus in the booth, the smiles between friends, and the surge of energy when the crowd locks in with the music. His album is a true testament to the diverse and vibrant community that calls Shambhala Home.

With a focus on the stages, he captured huge production moments, electric crowds, and peak memories like SkiiTour kicking off the AMP’s 2025 opening. Kiet focused his lens on the diverse art installations and murals scattered across the farm. He took special care to capture the intricate works created by our Indigenous Art Grant Recipients, Vania Stager and Rain Pierre, ensuring these meaningful contributions were beautifully preserved. Beyond the stationary art, Kiet immortalized the high energy and colourful joy of the Pride Parade and the fierce creativity of the Rave Runway Extravaganza. His work highlights the intersection of tradition and modern art while showcasing the unapologetic self-expression that brings the festival landscape to life.

Franklyn Mayott

Franklyn spent his time in the festival’s most immersive pockets, acting as a visual guide to the "world within a world" at Shambhala. He documented the curated magic of the Culture Canopy and the whimsical, tucked-away performances at the Circle Garden Theatre. From the ethereal vibes of the Secret Garden to the eclectic atmosphere of the Upsky Down Lounge, Franklyn captured the interactive art and discovery-led moments that make the farm feel like a living playground. His work isn't just about the music; it’s about the architectural gems and hidden enclaves that invite guests to get lost and find something unexpected.
