Uncle Waffles has propelled the Amapiano Genre with her stellar performances and visuals, being the first woman to break through many notable festivals and tour headlines – the first black female Amapiano act to play Coachella 2022 & 2024, The first Amapiano Act & DJ to headline Wireless in 7 years, the first Black female DJ and Amapiano act to headline at the Brooklyn Mirage, to name a few. After achieving so much as an upcoming artist in a short space of time, Uncle Waffles is looking to expand her creativity through film, presenting and fashion. She has expressed hopes of diversifying her brand from just a DJ. She is also looking forward to collaborating with more international artists in the hopes of helping spread the AmaPiano sound to the international market.
