The Church of Central Raving is an ecstatic dance throwdown mixed with a local variety show wrapped in a rave survival workshop. Designed around our humming bird attention spans, we deliver the goods with high velocity hilarity. From DNB mist-isms to outrageous hymn-nastics to the 11 Rave Recommendations, we bring you seven years of the best COCR sauce. This is Hayoka medicine. We believe in radical sincerity, respecting the Land and supporting the People. We honour the Rave Saints by sharing the ways to celebrate with intention and to ride the waves with restraint. If this is your first time at Shambhala this is where you’ll find practical tips to make your journey transformational and safe. If you’re walking the path of the Fest of All this is where you’ll find your community of weirdos. At the tail end of the Grove’s Opening Ceremony you might wander back through the trees or just wander around to the gate of the Secret Garden. We welcome you to join the Raverend Giovanni Jones Junior and the Church Choir-mistress Tianna J to open this sacred clown space up right. You might find a Party Priest named Water or hear a testimonial from a shiny guy named Tipping. For sure you’ll meet a whole host of our local Shambhala superstars. We are all on the same grassy stage so get up and dance your ass off or sit back in the shade to witness the glorious chaos. We all praise the rave in our own unique ways.
