Hudson Lee is a producer and performing DJ from Winnipeg, currently based in Vancouver. Hudson effortlessly navigates through a multi-genre landscape while maintaining their immediately recognizable style characterized by a chromatic sound design aesthetic. Their most recent album, Light Dancer, is a perfect synthesis of their stylistic leanings, which they are able to express with bouncy basses, vibrant melodies, and a myriad of textures and movements that fall within and around the spectrum between those two complementary extremes. Hudson Lee, in collaboration with Frequent, is also the co-owner of UPSCALE recordings, a driving force in the underground of electronic music, having worked with artists such as Mr. Bill, Vorso, Au5, KOAN Sound, and many more defining electronic acts.
