Coming from the beautiful Slocan Valley British Columbia. His journey on the turntables began in 2003 in small town in southern Ontario. In 2006 he landed in Nelson British Columbia, what he found was a thriving music scene which felt like the perfect place to fully explore and express his love music. His flow on the turntables creates a positive atmosphere that moves the floor every time. Fattycakes has been immersed in the Kootenay music scene for the past 15 years. He loves playing all the dope venues that the Kootenay’s have the offer, whether it’s small and intimate or party rocking nightclub vibes, His whole life revolves around digging for music, he’s always forging for the goods that make the dance floor bounce. Fattycakes is true story teller expect to hear a smooth blend of Funk, Hip Hop, House and D&B and everything in between with fat rolling baselines that are lightly garnished with a bit of turntablism for good measure.
