Evan Shafran, professionally known as EVeryman, is an American rapper, actor, comedian, DJ, and multidisciplinary performer based in Los Angeles. Known for his energetic stage presence and conscious, uplifting lyricism, Shafran blends classic hip-hop influences with modern bass music, funk, and reggae elements, creating a distinctive performance style that bridges underground hip-hop culture and live festival energy.  Originally from Portland, Maine, Shafran began performing at age seven and later graduated summa cum laude from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York, earning a B.A. in Dance Theatre and Sociology. After time in New York City’s Park Slope arts scene, he relocated to Los Angeles in 2008 to pursue music, film, and comedy full time.  As a recording artist and live performer, EVeryman has shared stages with acts including Pretty Lights, ODESZA, and Mark Farina, while appearing at major festivals such as Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Burning Man, Shambhala Music Festival, and Lightning in a Bottle. His music is rooted in the ethos of underground hip-hop while incorporating electronic and DJ culture, and he is one half of the hip-hop duo Little Giants, formed with producer Pumpkin (Nick Alvarado).  Beyond music, Shafran has built an extensive on-screen résumé with appearances in major films and television series. His IMDb credits include roles in the Academy Award-winning film Get Out, the blockbuster hit Barbie, and television series such as The Lincoln Lawyer and Fallout. His independent film work includes the short film Storyteller, which was a semifinalist for Best Dramatic Short at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.  Shafran is also active in theater and writing. He is an associate producer with Mir Productions in Brooklyn, where he co-wrote and performed in stage works including If There’s Jack in the Box Get Out and Hear NYC. In addition, he co-authored the children’s book The Little Giant Acorn.  A member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors’ Equity Association, and ASCAP, Shafran continues to work across film, television, music, and live performance while maintaining deep roots in underground hip-hop culture and festival communities worldwide.
