Paul & Caleb came from two small towns in the North, deep in oil country, setting out to turn Canada’s biggest export into bangers. The duo met while studying power engineering and eventually ended up working side by side as control room operators. Music quickly became their outlet, and from there they developed their sound through trial and repetition. As Control Room, their music reflects that foundation: punchy basslines, sharp leads, and drums that carry momentum without overcomplicating the moment. Their records have found support from artists like Dr. Fresch, BIJOU, Habstrakt, and Wax Motif, along with plays on Diplo’s Revolution and Insomniac Radio. Their music has been supported by top tier DJs across massive events such as Tomorrowland, Ultra, EDC Las Vegas, Burning Man, and Shambhala. At their core, Control Room is driven by a relentless work ethic, grounded in mutual respect and a genuine love for their community. They aim to support and strengthen the scene everywhere they go, fuelling dancefloors.
