Be Hazzy has been orbiting the Canadian West Coast music scene for nearly two decades, chasing the kind of nights that turn strangers into friends and dance floors into stories. His journey started back in 2003 when, at just 17, he attended his first Shambhala Music Festival. Somewhere between the basslines, dusty dance floors, and sunrise smiles, he discovered what the underground music community was really about: feel-good energy, freedom, and people coming together for the love of music. Years later in 2014, that love turned into action when he started collecting 45s and picked up a pair of Technics 1200s and a mixer. What started as spinning classic rock sing-alongs and funky soul grooves for friends quickly evolved into marathon sunrise sets, beach parties, and late-night generator-powered dance floors that only stopped when someone yelled “last track” or the gas ran out. Today, Be Hazzy brings the same spirit wherever he plays. His sets are built for smiles, sing-alongs, and that moment when the whole crowd suddenly realizes they know every word. No strict genre rules, no overthinking it, just great music pulled from everywhere and stitched together for maximum good times. Whether it’s sunshine on a patio, sand under your feet, or a dance floor under the stars, Be Hazzy shows up ready to keep the energy flowing and the Boom Boom Room rockin! “Don’t miss a chance to see what this legend will play next… because usually he doesn’t know either.”
