Nomadz - Nomadic State of Mind Canada

Goods for Wandering! Hand-made, adjustable, lightweight sandals of foot pleasure. Constructed with your comfort in mind, a super soft polypro rope (partially recycled) makes these sandals machine washable, colour-fast. Our sandals are great for walking everywhere – on the boat, in the canoe, at the beach, shopping, or around the house.

We here at Nomadz/Nomadic State of Mind have come up with a unique design for handcrafted rope sandals. We are artisans and have the expertise to create every pair ourselves here in Canada, but have started a project in a Nicaraguan village to help a previously out-of-work coffee plantation. We have employed 40 people in the village to help in the making of our sandals. This is a fair trade project and the people are treated with a lot of love and respect.

The most recent addition to our line is our upcycled coffee sack messenger bags from Nicaragua.  We have managed to turn the otherwise discarded coffee sacks into fashionable sling over messenger bags.

Third Eye Pinecones

Third Eye Pinecones are hand-crafted organic pendants made from the center of the world’s densest Pinecones. Our Pinecones are sustainably wild-gathered, then carefully dried, aged, and cured, before one single cross-section is cut from the “heart” of each cone. Taking only one cross-section per cone allows the remainder of many Pinecones to be harvested and germinated for seed, helping to ensure the future abundance of these unique species of Conifers.

We also offer high-definition visionary artwork tapestries on soft, durable fabric. You can check these out at www.ThirdEyeTapestries.com. Emerging Artist - Indigenous Grant Recipient - Alana More

About the Artist

Alana More is from Vancouver Island, but currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia. She is self-taught. When she is not painting, she finds peace in writing poetry. Creativity is the magic in her life, and art isn’t a hobby or thing, it’s her only way of being.

Keep an eye out for her piece "Take Me Home" - This acrylic on wood piece features orcas playing in the water in the Pacific Northwest. The work is a tribute to the artist’s Cree/mixed heritage, and the internal identity conflict that comes from being of two homes – that of settler, and indigenous. This painting is a heartfelt homage to the artist’s indigenous background, and that of her grandmother and mother, her family, and the natural raw beauty of the Pacific Northwest and its non-human inhabitants, where the artist calls home.

Green River Collective

The Shambhala Green River Collective is back at Muscle Beach! 🌊 Their mission? Reduce pollution, protect the river's biodiversity, and keep our favourite waterway thriving. Thanks to their hard work (and your help), littering has decreased significantly over the years. Here are 3 ways to protect the river during Shambhala:

🚫 No River Bathing: Even "earth-friendly" or biodegradable soaps can harm fish habitats. Please keep the suds in the showers!

☀️ Rinse Before You Swim: Sunscreen is one of the biggest sources of river pollution. Wash it off before diving in.

🚬 Drop Beats, Not Butts: Cigarette butts pollute the water and spark fires. Grab an eco-friendly Pocket Ashtray for a small donation at Muscle Beach or the Info Booth!Pack it in, pack it out, and keep the river pristine. Stop by Muscle Beach to say hi to the Green River Collective crew! 💚

💦 NEW FOR 2026: FLOATIE PILLARS

Your floatie can have an impact on the environment and the safety of others using the river. When choosing which floatie to pack this year, remember these 3 tips:

✨ No Glitter-Filled Floaties: If it pops, thousands of microplastics pollute the water. Help us keep the river glitter-free!

📏 Max 3 Meters: Giant floaties can block the river, create hazards, and can easily pop. Smaller floaties are recommended.

🎒 Pack it Out: Do not leave floaties, chairs, or pop-up tents on the river overnight. If you pack it in, pack it out everyday!Let’s all do our part to protect the river we love 💚

Danielle Caners

Performing at The Grove Stage

Danielle Caners is a French-Canadian visual artist, globally recognized for her meticulous paintings and drawings. From an early age, her artistic path was clear—by seven, she was already winning art competitions, and by eleven, selling her work. Over time, her practice has expanded into a wide range of mediums, including traditional painting (gouache, acrylic, egg tempera, and oils), digital art, augmented reality and animation, collage, sculpture, and alternative forms of storytelling.

Her work bridges the mystical and the scientific, offering rich visual explorations of consciousness, dreams, and fantastical natural realms. Deeply researched and symbolically layered, each piece becomes a tapestry that weaves together themes of cosmology, ecology, mycology, herbalism, and mythology. The visual density of her work invites viewers into a contemplative experience, encouraging a deeper inquiry into the mysteries of existence.

Danielle’s past projects include Myco Wisdom, an art and education initiative exploring the world of fungi; Prosthetic Reality, the world’s first augmented reality art book; and The Antipodes Project, a collaborative drawing featuring over thirty international artists.

Her work has been exhibited across four continents and is collected worldwide. She has shown at AveArtSpace for Miami Art Basel, galleries throughout Canada, the United States, Australia, Leeds City Museum in the United Kingdom and Leonora Carrington Museum in Mexico. Danielle has been featured at festivals across North America, Costa Rica, Portugal, and Hungary, and has collaborated on fundraising initiatives with organizations such as the Fungi Foundation in Chile and Wildlife Haven in Canada. Her work has been featured on Shaw TV, CNET, VICE, La Liberté, CBC, and more.

Performing at The Grove Stage

Sofia is an accomplished oil painter based in San Francisco, CA. She explores the profound relationship between women and nature in her portraiture. Influenced by her early teachings of fast one session "alla prima" paintings and later discovering visionary artists on the west coast, Sofia's unique style blends painterly brushwork, realism, and a touch of visionary imagination together.  Her recurring motifs of portraits, flowers, and animals serve as visual anchors, infusing her narratives with symbolism. Through the interplay of light, color, and texture, Sofia evokes the duality of perceived vulnerability and divine power between these subjects. Sofia has exhibited in various galleries in San Francisco, and enjoys live painting at festivals, cherishing the opportunities to share her artistic vision and connect with audiences.
