The 23rd Annual Shambhala Music Festival will take place July 22-25, 2022. The remaining tickets and ShambhaLodging packages will go back on sale within the coming days, so be ready! We were 70% sold out when we were forced to postpone in 2020, so we expect these to move quickly.

2022 FAQS

The 23rd Annual Shambhala Music Festival will take place July 22-25, 2022.

Yes, we will have a very limited number of Early Bird tickets available for the 2022 festival. Early Bird tickets will be $495, and we expect them to sell out quickly, so if you want to take advantage of this reduced pricing don't wait.

At this time, it is too soon to confirm exactly what our next festival lineup will look like. As always, you can expect a stacked lineup for 2022 with the same world-class calibre our Stage Directors have always delivered.

Once you have a trusted buyer and are ready to transfer your ticket, use our online system here: https://portal.shambhalamusicfestival.com/

You will need to use the email address associated with your order and click the ""Reset or Create Password"" button if it's your first time logging in. Once logged in, you can view your order online, make changes to your order and transfer tickets. Please make sure you have all the correct contact details before transferring the ticket as it cannot be undone.

We recommend using extreme caution when selling to a third party. There is an unofficial group on Facebook, The NEW Shambhala Ticket Exchange, that you can join to sell your ticket if necessary and to review a list of known scammers. Shambhala Music Festival is not responsible for third party transactions.

Shambhala Music Festival fully intends to follow the government guidelines relating to COVID-19 practices.

As the current government mandates are quickly evolving, we are carefully considering all of the options and awaiting further government directives regarding what will be required for guest entry. Once we have an explicit directive from the government, we will be sure to communicate this with our guests.

We understand that this lack of information is frustrating, and we'd like to assure you that we are doing our best to get the government information we need to proceed. Thanks for your patience.

Shambhala Music Festival fully intends to follow the government guidelines relating to COVID-19 practices. We are awaiting more information, however, we are all very excited to be getting back to doing what we love while staying safe. The festival will be adhering to our COVID-19 Safety Plan.

Guests had the option to choose a future year of their choice (2022, 2023, or 2024). The deadline for locking tickets/lodging to a specific year has now passed. This applies to customers who purchased tickets and lodging for the postponed Shambhala 2020 event.

If you already filled out the transfer form but your tickets/lodging do not reflect the requested year in the user portal: not to worry. All tickets/lodging transfers are done manually by our team. If you filled out the form your preference has been recorded and your order will be updated in the coming days and weeks.

TICKET FAQ

Your General Admission Festival Ticket includes:

- Festival Entry on Friday at 8:00 am (PST)

- Free Tent Camping Zone

- Free Parking in the Free Parking Zone

There are a few upgrades you may wish to purchase to enhance your Shambhala Music Festival experience such as ShambhaLodging, Early Entry and Paid Camping.

No, providing the ticket has been properly transferred prior to the new individual arriving at the festival.

Yes. Once a ticket has been transferred to your name, you will have the ability to transfer it again online through our new system.

You will be denied entry and will either need to leave the farm or track down a ticket that is still transferable. No exceptions. The name on the ticket MUST match the ID of the person using it at the festival.

Yes! The tickets will be held under the original purchaser’s name until you properly transfer each ticket to each friend online through our new system. You must transfer your extra tickets to your friends coming to the festival BEFORE you arrive at the gate.

No, tickets are non-refundable as per our terms and conditions.

Day passes may only be purchased on Sunday at the gate (cash only, price TBD). You must have your government-issued ID.

No, your GA ticket will allow you into the festival grounds come Friday 8:00 am. Early entry is an upgrade of an additional fee which will depend on the day you choose to arrive.

Your General Admission Festival Ticket includes: - Free Tent Camping Zone - Free Parking in the Free Parking Zone We are currently reviewing our camping and parking strategy, and we are excited to announce the new updates in the coming months.

Re-entry fees are per person, cash only. Payable upon return to the event. Please ensure you DO NOT remove or tamper with your wristband. Any tampered wristbands will be turned away at the gate and asked to leave the site, no exceptions. Re-entry fees will be announced in Spring 2022.

ONLINE TICKETING SYSTEM FAQ

The link to our new online system is https://portal.shambhalamusicfestival.com/. You will need to log in using the e-mail address associated with your order and click the “Reset or Create Password” button to generate your password.

Our new online ticketing system lets you manage your own order! You can easily view all your order items online, make changes to your contact information (address, phone number, upload your photo), transfer tickets & ShambhaLodging packages, print out your electronic ticket and much more!

Please visit our portal here and use the email address associated with your order. If it’s your first time accessing your order online, you will need to create a password by clicking “Reset or Create Password.”

You can easily transfer some or all of the items on your order by clicking the purple “Start a Transfer Button” in your User Portal. This will prompt you to fill in the new individual’s legal name, email address and phone number. Please carefully review the items you are transferring before completing the transfer. Transfers cannot be undone.

Once a transfer has taken place, both the original purchaser and the new individual will receive an official transfer receipt from SMF. This e-mail will contain information on how the new individual can log into the online ticketing system to access their new tickets or ShambhaLodging packages. Once transferred, those items are removed from the original purchaser’s account. If you did not receive your transferred ticket, please check your junk mail folder and ensure that it was transferred to the correct email.

No. Each ticket must be associated with a unique name and email address. If you have purchased multiple tickets, you will need to transfer each one to the person using it at the festival. If you have an extra ticket but are unsure who will be using it at the festival, you can wait to transfer it.

Yes. Once a ticket has been transferred to your name, you will have the ability to transfer it again through the online system.

No. Once any items have been transferred off your order you no longer have access to those items and the transfer cannot be undone. So please use extreme caution.

Click the “Reset or Create Password” button and a password reset email will be sent to you. Please check your junk mail/ spam folder if this email does not pop up in your inbox.

You will need to place another order on the sales page. All tickets/lodging purchased under the same email address will show up in your User Portal, even if they are not part of the same order.

The 'reset key invalid' error code will generally pop up for two different reasons.

1) You clicked the password reset button more than once and are not using the most recent link we have sent you. If clicked more than once, it invalidates the previous links and only the most current one will work.

2) You are copy and pasting the link in the email instead of clicking the link directly. Also, trying from a different device seems to help people that are running into the same issue.

If it’s your first time accessing our new online system, you will not have a password and will need to create one by clicking the “Reset or Create Password” button. A password reset link will be emailed to you.

This year, we have three different ShambhaLodging Zones: Riverside, Enchanted Woods, and Central Park.

The Riverside Zone is our brand new addition to ShambhaLodging. The Riverside Zone runs adjacent to the front gate, and has access to ample shade and your own private beach. With plenty of space, this zone is perfect for those who are looking for a campsite away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown. This zone is a 20-minute walk to Downtown and includes a free shuttle back and forth to the festival.

Campsites are not directly on the river, however, all sites are a short walk from the Riverside Zone private beach.

PACKAGES

Located in the Riverside Lodging Zone adjacent to the front gate. BYO Tent or RV and park your vehicle right at your site. Our Riverside Campsite-Only package includes a 20' x 35' campsite where you can set up your own tent or RV.

All campsites are at least 20' x 35' with variation from site to site. Single Campsite guests will also enjoy:

  • priority processing through the gate for one vehicle
  • waived early entry fees for two people

Capacity: 2 included, recommended up to a max of 8 ($80 per person extra)

Campsites are not directly on the river, however all sites are a short walk from the Riverside Zone’s private beach.

*2 people and 1 vehicle included, however the site can accommodate up to 8 people ($80 paid at the gate extra per head, additional vehicles must be parked in Free Parking).

Tucked away in the Riverside Lodging Zone, adjacent to the front gate. The Riverside Glamping package offers the perfect blend of space and comfort. These 5-metre diameter bell tents are made of highly breathable natural cotton canvas and are designed for use by 2 people.

The package includes:

  • 1 queen size bed
  • 15 amps of power
  • bedding (pillows, sheets and thin comforters)
  • water jug
  • 45L cooler
  • 2 lawn chairs
  • priority processing through the gate for one vehicle
  • waived early entry fees for 2 people

Campsites are not directly on the river, however, all sites are a short walk from the Riverside Zone’s private beach.

Capacity: 2 people maximum

Tucked away in the Riverside Lodging Zone, adjacent to the front gate. Riverside RV offers a spacious campsite 15' X 50', with 30 amps of power, wastewater removal and potable water replenished daily with access to the zone’s very own private beach. These campsites offer plenty of room for your RV / trailer, friends' tents, and campsite furniture. Express Entry for one vehicle and waived early entry fees for up to 4 people.

Capacity: 4 people and 2 vehicles included, however, the site can accommodate up to 8 people ($80 paid at the gate extra per head, additional vehicles must be parked in Free Parking). 

The Enchanted Woods (formerly known as simply ShambhaLodging) is a five to ten minute walk to the Downtown area. Tucked away from the excitement of the festival, it offers a slice of peace and tranquility, while still keeping you close to the action.

BYOTent. Our Campsite Only package includes a 10' x 10' campsite where you can set up your own tent. Please check the size of your tent before you come to the festival. It will need to fit within a 10' x 10' space.

All campsites are approximately 120 square feet (10' x 10') with slight variation from site to site. Campsite only guests will also enjoy:

  • Priority processing through the gate for one vehicle
  • Waived early entry fees for two people

Maximum Capacity: 2 people

 

WAITLIST ONLY

Forget hauling a tent and air mattress and make camping easy with the BASSics package. You'll arrive at a tent and queen size air mattress all set up for you in a 10x10 campsite. Simply bring your pillows and bedding. No room to pack bedding? No problem. Simply add the bedding upgrade during the checkout process.

BASSics tents measure 9'x9′ with a peak height of 4'7. All campsites are approximately 120 square feet (10'x10′) with a slight variation from site to site. BASSics guests will also enjoy:

  • Priority processing through the gate for one vehicle
  • Waived early entry fees for two people

Maximum Capacity: 2 people

Located in the Enchanted Woods, the Belle-Luxe Junior package offers the perfect blend of space and comfort. These 3-metre diameter bell tents are made of highly breathable natural cotton canvas.

The Belle-Luxe Junior package is designed for use by 2 people.

The package includes:

  • 1 queen size bed
  • Bedding (pillows, sheets and thin comforters)
  • Water jug
  • 45L cooler
  • 4 lawn chairs
  • Priority processing through the gate for one vehicle
  • Waived early entry fees for 2 people.

Full camp setup in a 10' x 12' canvas tent on a raised deck platform.

Experience the party of a lifetime in style with the Fancy Pants package. Enjoy a full camp setup in a 10' x 12' canvas tent on a raised deck platform. This package includes all the upgrades:

  • a foam mattress
  • bedding (pillows, sheets, comforter)
  • two lawn chairs
  • 45L cooler
  • water jug
  • priority processing through the gate for one vehicle
  • waived early entry fees for two people

Maximum Capacity: 2 people

WAITLIST ONLY

The Belle-Luxe package offers the perfect blend of space and comfort. These massive 5-metre diameter bell tents provide lots of wiggle room for group camping. Made of highly breathable natural cotton canvas, the Belle-Luxe package is designed for use by 2-4 people.

The package includes 2 queen size beds and all the upgrades:

  • Bedding (pillows, sheets and thin comforters)
  • Water jug
  • 45L cooler
  • 4 lawn chairs
  • priority processing through the gate for one vehicle
  • waived early entry fees for 2 people

Maximum Capacity: 4 people

 

Central Park is as close to Downtown as you can get. Central Park offers RV site hookups right in the middle of everything, just outside Downtown Shambhala. This Zone is most suitable for RVs and Trailers.

As close to Downtown you can get. Central Park offers RV site hookups right in the middle of everything outside downtown Shambhala. Bring your RV / Trailer and enjoy your 15' x 50' campsite, 30 amps of power, daily freshwater refill and sani-dump. These campsites offer plenty of room for your RV / trailer, friends' tents, and campsite furniture. Express Entry for one vehicle and waived early entry fees for up to 4 people.

Central Park is very close to the stages, so earplugs are recommended for your downtime. Stages have 15-20 hours of musical programming per day.

Capacity: Your site can accommodate however many people will fit in the allotted 15' x 50' space. Plan ahead!

*Please note: the power supply for Central Park will end at 12pm PST on Monday. All guests are welcome to stay the night on Monday, July 25, however, we ask that all guests leave the property by noon on Tuesday, July 26th.

ShambhaLodging FAQ

The capacity of each ShambhaLodging package varies. Please see below for your specific package and zone's capacity limits.

ENCHANTED WOODS:

  • 2 people max: Campsite Only, BASSics, Belle-Luxe Junior & Fancy Pants
  • 4 people max: Belle-Luxe

CENTRAL PARK:

  • Capacity varies - it can accommodate however many people fit in the allotted space.

RIVERSIDE:

  • Single Campsite: 2 included, recommended up to a max of 8 ($80 per person extra)
  • Double Campsite: 4 included, recommended up to a max of 12 ($80 per person extra)
  • Glamping: 2 people max

Yes! 

Yes, providing we aren’t sold out. Please email lodging@shambhalamusicfestival.com from the email address associated with your order (including your Order ID #) and we will invoice you for the difference in pricing.

No. As per our terms and conditions, all sales are final. If you can no longer attend the festival, you are responsible for passing along the package to a friend or selling it. You can transfer ownership of the package through our new online system.

No. Shambhala Music Festival Tickets must be purchased separately. You may purchase them here.

Both parties will receive a transfer receipt/confirmation from us once the transfer has gone through. This receipt will include information for the new individual regarding how they can access their order. Please check your junk mail/ spam folders if it does not appear in your inbox.

No. Our online system only facilitates the transferring of tickets and ShambhaLodging packages but not payment. Payment needs to be figured out by both parties involved. Please use extreme caution as a transfer cannot be undone.

All guests are welcome to stay the night on Monday to fully recharge before hitting the road. Please make sure you get at least 8 hours of sleep before driving home. Excessive music and partying in campsites will be shut down by event staff on Monday. We ask that all guests leave the property by noon on Tuesday post-festival.

Unfortunately guests are not able to make group bookings at this time. With this said, if you have purchased a ShambhaLodging package as would like to be next to your friend, please email our ShambhaLodging Manager who will try their best to accommodate this for you. Yes, transfers must be done through our online portal. Please ensure that you also forward the lodging placard in addition to the package.

Shambhala Music Festival is pleased to offer our guests the ability to purchase their Tickets and ShambhaLodging items on a Payment Plan. To create a Payment Plan, simply check out with your chosen items and select the number of instalments you’d like to make at the checkout.

By purchasing an order under the Payment Plan option, the purchaser agrees to be bound by the following Payment Plan Terms and Conditions, in addition to Shambhala Music Festival’s Terms and Conditions.

Payment Plan FAQ

Our Payment Plans give our guests the option to pay for their festival tickets and/or ShambhaLodging packages over a monthly term.

Your first instalment is due at the time of purchase. The remaining instalments will occur monthly on the same day, based on the number of payments selected.

For example, if you purchase a payment plan with 3 instalments starting on December 15, your remaining payments will come off your credit card on January 15 and February 15.

Payments will be automatically charged to the same card used at the time of purchase.

Your payment plan applies to your entire order, which varies for each customer. Your order value will be divided by the number of installments you select.

Please email sales@shambhalamusicfestival.com to change your payment method.

Each installment date is provided at checkout and in your email confirmation. Payments recur on the same day each month.

For example, if you purchase a payment plan with 3 installments starting on December 15, your remaining payments will come off your credit card on January 15 and February 15.

Payments will automatically recur using the same card.

If you need to change the installment date, please contact sales@shambhalamusicfestival.com and our team will do our best to accommodate that for you.

Yes, a confirmation email is sent each time a successful payment is collected. Each payment confirmation email also has the installment number on it.

No, Payment Plans are completely interest-free! All you pay is a portion of your order total on each monthly installment.

You cannot transfer your Payment Plan order to someone else until the final installment has been paid. While in the payment period, you are fully responsible for making payments on the installments. Once the final installment has been paid, you can transfer your order if need be.

Unfortunately, we are only able to offer the Payment Plan for new orders and cannot alter orders that have already been completed.

Your credentials will be issued to your account. Please log into the user portal to see them. This is also how you would access your ticket to transfer to a friend or claim it before you head to the farm.

The details of your payment plan can be found in your confirmation emails and in the user portal. Please log in with the email you made the purchase with. If you are having trouble logging in, please check out our FAQs for the Electronic Ticketing System.
