Jacques Greene is the artist name of Philippe Aubin-Dionne, the Montreal-born and raised DJ and producer - one of dance music’s most captivating and enigmatic talents. The house and RnB producer has consistently given the musical landscape progressively deeper ideas of what house music can mean throughout the last decade.\n\nProducing for vocalists Katy B, Tinashe and How To Dress Well and remixing Radiohead, Flume, Rhye, and MorMor, Jacques Greene has expanded his collaborations to include fashion with Givenchy and cult designer Rad Hourani, and art institutions including London’s Tate Modern.\nJacques Greene’s sparkling original productions include the genre-defining ‘Another Girl’, a house anthem with future RnB leanings that would go on to inspire countless imitations. This was followed by a series of acclaimed EP releases on LuckyMe including ’On Your Side’, ‘Phantom Vibrate’, and ‘After Life After Party’ that saw Greene’s world tour cross US, CA, UK, EU, and Asia as well as nominations for 3 Juno awards. He has released two albums, Feel Infinite (2017) and Dawn Chorus (2019).\n\nPost-2019, Jacques Greene has not slowed down. He released ANTH01 in 2021, a collection of his earliest and rarest material, showcasing his evolution from his days in Montreal. This album includes deep cuts as well as club music hits like “Another Girl” and “The Look.”\n\nGreene also ventured into new collaborations. He teamed up with British musician and producer Bonobo on a new single titled \"Fold,\" released on Bonobo’s OUTLIER label in partnership with Ninja Tune. This track is a blend of their unique styles, creating an uplifting house music experience.\nMoreover, Jacques Greene collaborated with Nosaj Thing, another influential figure in the electronic music scene, on a single titled “Too Close,” featuring Montreal-based multi-instrumentalist Ouri. This ambient, late-night track hinted at a promising partnership, with plans for an extended play in the future.\n\nIn addition Jacques Greene has been actively touring, including accompanying Bonobo and performing at major music festivals. His continual evolution and collaborations highlight his status as a pivotal figure in the electronic music landscape.
