Shambhala Music Festival, in co-operation with Aufect Recordings, is proud to present our 2014 ‘Sound the Alarm’ Remix Contest! Download the stems from one or both of our remix tracks, and enter for your chance to win an incredible prize package including an artist pass to this year’s Shambhala Music Festival. Our lucky and talented grand prize winner will also have their track released on a forthcoming Aufect Recordings EP and hear it played on a massive PK Sound system on The AMPhitheatre stage at Shambhala this summer.

2013 Shambhala Music Festival

This year’s title track up for remix is “Sound the Alarm” by HxdB and DJ Cure, featuring MC ThinkTank. An absolute genre-bending, half-time 165 bpm killer, we can’t wait to hear what you come up with…. Our second track up for remix, ‘Ordinateur’ produced by Philthkids is an old-school, electro inspired, ghetto-house original.

Download the audio stems here: HxdB & DJ Cure ft MC ThinkTank – Sound the Alarm / Philthkids – Ordinateur

All remix content must be 100% original/royaltyfree, using the Aufect audio stems, in any genre or at any speed. Please do not mix the stems between our remix tracks, though you can submit as many versions of each track as you’d like. All submissions will be subject to an Assignment of Rights, and will be wholly licensed to Shambhala Music Festival. Read the official rules here.

If you do decide to share your remix with the public via soundcloud before the contest is closed, please do not make it downloadable as it is being considered for release, and please do share it on the Facebook event page we will be making for the remix competition. We recommend that you upload your submissions to https://www.wetransfer.com/ and email to shambhalaremix@aufect.com.
