•• Wes Please••
From Kelowna, BC, Wes Please has worked incredibly hard to get to where he is, and it shows. Having made his mark last summer at Shambhala Music Festival, as well as countless gigs with big artists that inspire his work, he’s become a familiar name in the West Coast electronic music scene. Always aiming higher, we can’t wait to see what new heights Wes Please reaches from here.
This local hero will be returning to the Fractal Forest this year to bring you some funky breaks and future house. Check out his BC Artist Spotlight Mix and get ready to positively charged on the dancefloor!

1. How has Shambhala Music Festival helped you grow and evolve as an artist?
Shambhala has pushed me to strive to do my absolute best and then some. Every artist takes a lot of pride in their sets. That has always been an incredible influence for me. It takes a lot to put yourself out there. I continue to fall deeper in love with music and the creative process.
2. What can we expect from your 2019 Shambhala set and what can we expect from you on the music front in the future?
I believe that music is a very powerful healer. It can really connect with you in a way that goes beyond words and do amazing work deep down. I always have that in mind when I am selecting music for my sets. You can expect a positive charged vibe this year. I also have some new original tunes that I am super excited to share.
3. What do you have to say about the evolution of the West Coast Music Scene? What makes it so special and unique?
It really blows my mind how each year the limits get pushed further and further. The scene we see today is a direct reflection of the love and passion of so many individuals.
4. What BC town or city are you from and how has it influenced your music and you as an artist?
I am from Kelowna BC. It has always been known for its thriving music scene. I have made so many connections, which I am grateful for. There are countless people who have gone out of their way to support me and my passion for music.
5. What are your future goals as an artist?
I have been producing music for years. But it takes time to create music that represents you, and that works in your sets. I am happy to say that I am now at the point where I’m featuring original tunes in all my sets. One big goal I have is to play an all original set in Fractal Forest.
