Shlump Artist Interview

Slump Artist Interview

Wakaan taste-masker, Shlump, made his way to Shambhala Music Festival for the first time ever this August 2018. He took over none other than the Village Stage, rattling the dome with that wonky, wobbly, bass from outer space. His new EP “Lazer Beam” dropped via Zeds Dead‘s DEADBEATS label, right before making his first Shambhala appearance, which left the crowd breathless with his dirty bass drops and entanglement of alien frequencies. Watch the full interview to hear how Shlump felt right at home at Shambhala.

“Shambhala is such a well-curated festival.  The production, stages, music, people, environment are all top notch. I had an amazing time!” – Shlump

What were your favourite moments from the festival this year?
I would have to say getting to play on The Village Stage.

What part has Shambhala Music Festival played in your journey as an artist?
This was my first Shambhala, but I hope to attend many more 🙂

What is your favourite stage?
I played at the Village Stage, which was incredible. That experience and the amazing sound system make me a little biased, but every stage at Shambhala is lovely in their own way.

How does Shambhala compare to other festivals that you’ve played at?

Shambhala is what I truly want in a music festival – amazing art, music, nature and people. I left feeling so inspired 🙂
