Now 17 albums deep, with his most recent Color of Flight released just a few short months ago, The Polish Ambassador is ready for his inaugural year at Shambhala on The Grove Stage, which will double as just his second ever Canadian appearance.
“I’ve heard it’s Canada’s ‘best festival’ countless times,” he told us. “[I’m] looking forward to making some memories [there] for the first time.”
The California-born DJ and producer has been spending the last while putting his heart and soul into his new record label, Jumpsuit Records. The label has released music from the likes of Ayla Nereo, Saqi, Scott Nice, Isaac Chambers, and Ultimate Fantastic – and apparently there’s lots more on the way. He’s also had his side project Wildlight on the go, which is a collaboration with female vocalist and producer Ayla Nereo.
The Polish Ambassador is known for his groovy, world beat-infused electric vibes, but has more recently ventured into the world of hip-hop and retro-wave.
“I’ve got a hip hop record in the works, I’ve got a retro-wave record in the works, and I’ve got a live band record in the works,” he said, with plans to debut several tracks at Shambhala.
..and if that weren’t enough, he’s also got his own festival – the Jumpsuit Family Gathering – in the works. Employing the beautiful Taos Mesa Brewing Amphitheater in New Mexico to serve as the backdrop, he tells us the outdoor festival experience is unparalleled.
“Getting to feel the energy of nature while facilitating a beautiful dance party is an amazing experience, and one I hold close to my heart. Very grateful to get to share these experiences with humans, as well as nature.”
We’re excited to have him share his first Shambhala experience on the farm with all of you ‘Lovelies..
